Roles and Responsibilities:

1.Academic Advising:
Providing academic counseling and guidance to students in course selection, scheduling,
and academic planning.
b. Assisting students in setting and achieving academic goals.
2. Career Counseling:
a. Offering career guidance, helping students explore potential career paths, and aligning
their interests and skills with educational and career goals.
b. Providing information on job markets, industries, and internship opportunities.
3. Personal Counseling:
a. Offering emotional and psychological support to students dealing with personal issues,
stress, anxiety, or mental health concerns.
b. Referring students to professional counselors or psychologists when necessary.
4. Study Skills and Time Management:
a. Teaching students effective study techniques, time management skills, and strategies

Higher Education Cell

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Provide information and resources to your friends regarding various higher education options,
including postgraduate programs, scholarships, entrance exams, and application procedures.
2. Organizing and conducting workshops, seminars, and information sessions on topics such as
standardized testing, admission essays, financial aid, and other aspects of the application
process.
3. Assisting your fellow mates with the application process, including helping them prepare
application materials, such as resumes, personal statements, and recommendation letters.
4. Provide information on available scholarships, grants, and financial aid opportunities, and guide
students through the application process for these resources.
5. Offer guidance and resources for standardized tests such as SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, and
IELTS.
6. Ensuring that your friends are aware of important application deadlines and document
requirements for their chosen higher education programs.
7. Organize college fairs, information sessions, and related events that allow students to interact
with representatives from different colleges and universities.
8. Maintain records of student applications, acceptances, and rejections for tracking and future
reference.
9. Promote the Higher Education Cell’s activities and resources within the institution to increase
student awareness and engagement.
10. Stay informed about the latest developments and trends in higher education, including changes

effectively to benefit students.

Industry Connect Cell

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. The coordinator is responsible for identifying and engaging students who are interested in
industry-related activities, internships, workshops, and events.
2. Creation of awareness among the student body about the opportunities available through the
Industry Connect Cell.
3. The coordinator should establish and nurture partnerships that can benefit students through
internships, guest lectures, and industry visits.
4. Helping your friends find suitable internships in their respective fields is a primary responsibility.
This includes liaising with companies, identifying internship opportunities, and guiding students
through the application process.
5. Organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions that can enhance students’ industry
relevant skills. This may involve inviting industry experts and organizing skill development
programs.
6. Facilitating networking events, career fairs, and industry-specific meetups where students can
interact with professionals from various industries. These events can help students build
valuable connections and gain insights into the job market.
7. Gathering feedback from both students and industry partners to continuously improve the
services and opportunities offered by the Industry Connect Cell.
8. Preparing reports and documentation for the institution to assess the performance and impact
of the Industry Connect Cell. This may involve presenting data on student placements,
internship success stories, and industry engagement.
9. Addressing any issues or concerns that students or industry partners may encounter during their
interactions with the Industry Connect Cell.
10. Ensure to get industry visit for the students.
11. Interact with the industry connect persons for all aspects including industrial visits.
12. Collect reports from students after the industry visit.
13. Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of the Industry Connect Cell’s initiatives and making
adjustments to improve outcomes.

Internship Cell

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. You’ll have to maintain a database of internship opportunities, ensuring that it is up to
date and relevant to the students’ fields of study and career goals.
2. Helping your fellow mates to navigate the application process for internships.
3. Assist in organizing internship-related events, such as internship fairs, information
sessions, and workshops to help degree students to prepare for and secure internships.
4. Provide peer support and mentorship to your fellow mates, sharing insights and advice
from personal experiences with the internship application and selection process.
5. Assisting in conducting mock interviews, providing interview practice and feedback to
prepare for internship interviews.
6. Build relations and work with alumni who have previously completed internships to
share their insights and help connect current students with internship opportunities.
7. Collection of feedback from students regarding their experiences with the internship cell
and the quality of the internships they secured, and relay this information to the
internship cell for continuous improvement.
8. Stay in touch with students who have completed internships to gather information on
their experiences and provide post-internship support or resources.
9. Connect with the companies where students have taken Internship to know about the
status of the student as well as to continue the cordial relationship for future.
10. Take feedback and review letters from the concerned companies in case of any
fraudulent act or misleading internship by students.
11. Create and maintain google forms and sheets
12. Conduct meetings on a regular basis with team to plan for next set of internships
13. Maintain database of all companies, including MSME and Sole traders.
14. Maintain the soft and hard copies of Individual internship reports.

Networking Cell

Roles and Responsibility:

1. Identify and invite guest speakers, industry experts, alumni, and other professionals to
participate in networking events and share their insights.
2. Coordinate the logistics of networking events, including venue selection, scheduling, equipment
setup, and catering arrangements.
3. Develop promotional materials, including posters, social media content, and email campaigns,
to market networking events to students and external guests.
4. Manage event registration and track attendance, ensuring a smooth and well-organized
experience for participants.
5. Foster relationships with alumni who can provide valuable insights, mentorship, and networking
opportunities for current students.
6. Provide support to guest speakers and industry experts during their visits, ensuring they have
the necessary resources and assistance.
7. Maintain a database of networking event attendees, guest speakers, and contacts, allowing for
future engagement and outreach.
8. Assist in managing the budget allocated for networking events, including tracking expenses and
financial reporting.
9. Collaborate with other campus organizations, career services, and academic departments to
ensure a holistic approach to networking opportunities.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging opportunities, and changes in the job market to
inform the networking cell’s activities.

Placement Cell

Roles and Responsibility:

  • To offer guidance and feedback to your fellow mates on resume building and online profiles, ensuring they present themselves effectively to potential employers.
  • Will have to maintain the job listings database, ensuring it is up to date and relevant to the needs of the student community.
  • Assist students with registration for placement activities, ensuring that all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Should conduct and arrange mock interview sessions, providing degree students with interview practice and feedback.
  • Should conduct career workshops and training sessions by coordinating logistics and ensuring students’ participation.
  •  Will have to organize and assist in the logistics of on-campus recruitment drives, including scheduling, venue preparation, and candidate coordination.
  • Gather feedback from students regarding their experiences with the placement cell and employer interactions, and share this information with the placement cell for continuous improvement.
  • Stay in touch with students who have secured job offers or internships to gather information on their experiences and provide post-placement support.
  • Maintain contact details of the companies visited us or companies visited by our students for interview for future times and follow up on a regular time line.
  • Arrange/attend training and Placement meetings to ensure public relationship with other institutions.
  • Gather information about pool drives and job fairs.
  • Create google forms and sheets as and when data and information is required and collect the same. 
  • Maintain physical files for all the placement activities in order to facilitate for LIC and other inspections.
  • Arrange for placement counselling sessions for those who are not clear about their future plans.  

 

Research and Development Cell

research projects.
5. Assist in preparing research proposals, grant applications, and funding requests. This may
involve writing, reviewing, and editing documents.
6. Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, and other events related to research and
development to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among students and faculty.
7. Ensure that data generated during research projects are properly collected, stored, and
managed. This may include complying with ethical and legal guidelines for data handling.
8. Ensure that the research conducted by the R&D cell adheres to high ethical and academic
standards. This includes ensuring compliance with research ethics, safety protocols, and
academic integrity.
9. Promote the R&D cell’s activities within the institution and to the broader academic and
industry communities.
10. Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of research and development to ensure
that the R&D cell remains innovative and cutting-edge.
11. Conduct FDPs to facilitate new learning aspects.
12. Arrange for National and International conferences in association with BU and other institutions.

Social Responsibility Cell

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Set the vision and direction for the SRC, and provide leadership to the team of student
volunteers. Define the overarching goals and objectives for the cell.
2. Identify, plan, and execute social responsibility projects and initiatives that address community
needs. This may include organizing events, drives, and campaigns focused on various social
issues, such as education, health, environment, and poverty alleviation.
3. Recruit and manage a team of student volunteers who are passionate about social responsibility
and community service. Delegate tasks and responsibilities as needed.
4. Establish partnerships and collaborations with local NGOs, non-profit organizations, and
community leaders to enhance the impact and reach of social projects.
5. Raise funds and resources for social projects, whether through sponsorships, donations, or
grants, to support the implementation of initiatives.
6. Organize awareness campaigns, seminars, and workshops to educate the campus community
about social issues and inspire them to get involved in social responsibility activities. Organize
petitions, or rallies to draw attention to relevant concerns.

3. Managing the E-Cell’s budget and resources effectively to ensure the smooth operation of its
programs and initiatives.
4. Facilitating mentorship programs where experienced entrepreneurs, alumni, or industry
professionals can guide and advise aspiring student entrepreneurs.
5. Providing support for your friends’ startups and guiding them through the initial stages of
business development. This might involve connecting them with incubators, accelerators, or
funding opportunities.

Festing

Roles and Responsibility:

1. In a festing cell, all-round development involves fostering a diverse range of skills and talents.
Social initiatives within the festing cell encourage a sense of responsibility and community engagement, completing the circle of all-round development.

2. Students of a college are provided a platform to gain experience and knowledge about means of development and also various important aspects that of being an effectively functioning individual. Competition with and against experienced and qualified individuals also provides a wider horizon for growth and full-blown evolution.

3. Competition is a boon but is often mistaken for a curse. Inter-collegiate events is home for aspiring athletes, businesspersons, leaders and so on. A student who is a part of such an environment is pushed towards reinventing themselves and also rejuvenating oneself and the environment they’re a part of.

Skill-development is the key to converting aspirations into reality and that is exactly what the Festing stage provides. A discrete opportunity for every pupil is given in order for them to showcase and enhance the skills they already possess.

It is an effective manner for students to learn the textbook content in a more practical way so that they can incorporate these lessons throughout their journey. It also allows students to explore different fields that may have been previously difficult for them to comprehend.

Along with all of these festivities, students also find a place to make friends and also share memorable experiences that will be carried on for the rest of their lives. It marks a milestone in the history of a student’s growth and all-round development.
